Women's IT Club discusses legal and digital sustainability of women's businesses

Tashkent hosted a meeting of the GAP women's IT club aimed at developing digital literacy and legal awareness among women entrepreneurs. The theme of the event was the interaction of technologies and legal instruments as a basis for strengthening the position of women in the economy. The event was held under the title "The right to development: digital skills and legal literacy" and brought together representatives of the public sector, private business and the expert community.

The event focuses on strengthening the role of women in the digital economy by improving their competencies in the field of IT and legal protection. The organizers focused on the need for systematic support for women in entrepreneurship, especially in the context of digitalization and a rapidly changing regulatory environment.

The panel discussion participants discussed comprehensive approaches to doing business in compliance with legal norms, received recommendations on the use of e-government, financial planning, cybersecurity and protection of commercial interests. Special attention was paid to the possibility of using online platforms for registering businesses, submitting applications and applying for legal support.

Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the e-Government Center, the Information Technology Training Center, and a law firm specializing in business and startup support took part in the dialogue. Experts in the field of investment and digital transformation emphasized that legal literacy is becoming an essential condition for the sustainable growth of micro and small enterprises, especially those run by women.

Key statements were made at the event by senior representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies. This is not just a support program — it is the architecture of a future inclusive economy."

Adviser to the Minister Kamola Sobirova added: "Today's knowledge is tomorrow's decisions. Every investment in women's digital literacy is an investment in the country's social sustainability and innovation power. We are building an ecosystem where every woman can realize her potential — in entrepreneurship, technology, and social life."

As part of the event, leading women entrepreneurs received certificates for three months of free legal support provided by a law firm, which will become a tool for strengthening the legal protection of their businesses.
