First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Ayloyev and State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sultan Al-Murayhi had a telephone conversation. The dialogue focused on key aspects of bilateral cooperation and coordination of foreign policy positions.
During the conversation, the diplomats discussed in detail the agenda of upcoming joint events, including high-level visits and preparations for interstate negotiations. Special attention was paid to the promotion of economic initiatives and mechanisms of political and diplomatic cooperation.
The sides also exchanged views on the current international and regional situation. The discussion focused on issues of security, sustainable development and international cooperation, in which both countries are interested in strengthening coordination and mutual support on international platforms.
The contact between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Qatar reflects the trend towards intensifying the dialogue between the states, aimed at expanding partnership within the Middle East and Central Asia region.
