Uzbekistan, Jordan discuss expansion of bilateral cooperation and international coordination

On June 30, 2025, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Demia Zuhair Haddad. The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere and focused on deepening cooperation in a wide range of areas.

The focus was on political dialogue, the development of trade and economic partnership, as well as the expansion of cultural and humanitarian ties. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in increasing the intensity of contacts at all levels and stressed the importance of maintaining the dynamics of bilateral cooperation in the context of current global and regional transformations.

Special attention was paid to the preparation of joint events within the planned schedule. Specific organizational aspects of upcoming visits, business forums, and cultural initiatives were discussed. The dialogue is focused on creating new growth points in the areas of tourism, investment, education and innovation exchange.

Prospects for cooperation in international organizations were also considered. The parties expressed their readiness to coordinate positions on key issues on the global agenda, including sustainable development, regional stability and intercultural understanding. The importance of mutual support within international and regional structures was emphasized.
