UzAuto Motors launches five millionth car at Asaka plant

UzAuto Motors ' assembly plant in Asaka has produced the five-millionth vehicle since the start of production. This was reported by the press service of the automaker. The anniversary model was a red Chevrolet Onix, assembled on the second assembly line of the plant.

Reaching the milestone of 5 million vehicles was another milestone in the company's history. The previous major production stage — the production of the four — millionth car-was recorded in 2022, when the Chevrolet Tracker rolled off the assembly line.

The first million cars UzAuto Motors produced by 2008, then the anniversary car was the Chevrolet Lacetti. The two — millionth mark was reached in 2014-the Gentra model became a symbol of this stage. In 2018, the company produced the three millionth car, which became the Chevrolet Spark.

According to the company's internal statistics, more than 350 thousand units of cars of various models were produced at the facilities of UzAuto Motors in 2024. The main production sites of the company are located in the city of Asaka, Andijan region. The plant implements both local assemblies and export deliveries, supporting the key positions of the Chevrolet brand in the market of Uzbekistan and the CIS countries.
