Nissan introduced the most powerful Patrol in history-the Nismo version with a 495 hp engine.

Nissan has officially introduced a new modification of its legendary SUV — Patrol Nismo. This is the most powerful version of the model for the entire existence of the line. The main feature of the novelty was the upgraded V6 engine with dual turbocharging, the power of which was increased to 495 horsepower-35 hp more than the standard version. The torque reaches an impressive 700 N * m.

Patrol Nismo received a redesigned 9-speed automatic transmission and an improved all-wheel drive system adapted to the sporty driving style and increased load characteristics. The model is aimed at demanding drivers who combine an interest in a premium level of equipment and high cross-country ability.

Visually, the Nismo version differs in a number of stylistic solutions. The SUV received unique 22-inch wheels developed in collaboration with the Japanese brand Rays. Red accents on the body emphasize the sporty character of the car. The same color can be traced in the interior design — on the steering wheel, seats and center panel.

The model will be available to order starting in July. Official prices will be announced closer to the start of sales. The key market for Patrol Nismo will be the Middle East, where the demand for premium and powerful SUVs with recognizable design and high technical characteristics is traditionally high.

The arrival of the Patrol Nismo complements the recent launch of another special version, the Patrol PRO-4X, also aimed at the Gulf market. This modification was announced last week and focuses on extreme off-road training.

The Patrol line continues to expand in the direction of specialization: from utilitarian cross-country performance to powerful, almost racing characteristics on the road. The release of the Nismo version confirms Nissan's strategy to strengthen the Patrol's image as one of the most prestigious and versatile SUVs in the Middle East market.
