Honor is developing a new smartphone with an increased capacity battery — 8200 mAh. Information about this appeared thanks to the data of the Chinese 3C certification center and the insider Digital Chat Station. The device is positioned in the middle price segment, but its name and release dates have not yet been revealed.
The HB5668A0EIW certified battery was developed jointly by Honor and Sunwoda Electronics. This is a lithium-ion polymer battery with a nominal capacity of 8100 mAh, an energy of 30.54 Wh and an operating voltage of 3.77 V. The maximum charging voltage is 4.53 V.
According to sources, the new smartphone can become a successor or an improved version of the Honor Power released in April 2025. Recall that this model is equipped with an 8000 mAh battery, a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5 K and a frequency of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 66 W fast charging, a dual camera (50 MP + 5 MP) and a 16 MP front camera. The device runs on MagicOS 9 with Android 15.
Digital Chat Station also announced plans for Honor to release a folding smartphone Magic V5 with a 6100 mAh battery with a case thickness of 8.8 mm. This model will set a record for battery capacity among foldable devices.
