Skoda has released a special series of crossover Karoq-130 Years Edition 110TSI, dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the brand's foundation in Australia. The new version is based on the popular Select configuration and features unique design elements and an expanded list of equipment.
The model is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with 150 hp (110 kW) and 250 Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and transmits traction to the front wheels. The configuration lacks the adaptive chassis and progressive steering that are offered in the Sportline version.
The price of the Skoda Karoq 130 Years Edition was 49,000 Australian dollars. The car is available in four body colors: white, gray, black and blue.
The release of the anniversary version is timed to coincide with the 130th anniversary of the founding of Laurin & Klement in 1895, which later became part of Skoda Auto. The model is designed to highlight the brand's rich historical heritage and its presence in the Australian market.
