In March 2024, Uzbekistan introduced an automated monitoring system for analyzing data on taxpayers working with VAT. Each organization is assigned an individual tax inspector, which allows you to more effectively monitor the fulfillment of tax obligations and the dynamics of key indicators.
According to the results of May 2025, significant growth was recorded in a number of areas compared to the same period last year:
- 65.4 thousand taxpayers recorded a monthly turnover of more than 10 million soums, which is 23.5% of the total number;
- among 65.9 thousand taxpayers, the share of the payroll fund in the structure of trade turnover exceeded 5%, the indicator reached 25.2%;
- 53.4 thousand taxpayers showed a level of profitability above 1%, which corresponds to 19.6%;
- the total volume of trade turnover amounted to 325.6 trillion soums, an increase of 36.2%;
- the number of employees increased by 1.9 million, which corresponds to an increase of 31.2%.%;
- tax revenues to the budget (excluding revenues from budget organizations and non-tax revenues) reached 22.2 trillion soums, an increase of 32%.
The system continues to operate normally, providing control and analysis of key financial and tax indicators of enterprises involved in the VAT system.
