Honor is preparing to release the X70 with a 1.5 K OLED display and an enlarged battery

Honor is preparing for the July launch of the new Honor X70 smartphone, which will be the successor to the X60 model. Information about the new product appeared thanks to leaks from a well-known insider Digital Chat Station, who published the first technical details and design features of the device before the official announcement.

Honor X70 will receive a 6.79-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5 K. This is an important upgrade from the previous model, which used an LCD screen. The screen promises to provide higher brightness, contrast, and energy efficiency.

The smartphone will be based on a new energy-efficient chipset, the name of which has not yet been disclosed. For comparison, the Honor X60 was equipped with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor. The source notes that the novelty will be characterized by reduced power consumption, which in combination with an increased battery will provide a long battery life. The exact capacity of the battery is not reported, but the emphasis is on the fact that the device will be thin while maintaining a "large battery". The leaks mention the Honor Power model with an 8,000 mAh battery as a benchmark for comparison.

Honor X70 will be offered in three colors: Moon Shadow White, Bamboo Blue and Phantom Night Black. It is expected that the company will reveal official details about the characteristics, price and start date of sales in the coming weeks.
