Apple launched a free service program for Mac mini 2024 with problems enabling it

Apple has announced the launch of a global service program for free repair of some 2024 Mac mini computers with the M2 chip, which may not turn on. According to the company, the glitch affects a "very small percentage" of devices manufactured between June 16 and November 23, 2024. The exact technical reasons for the malfunction are not disclosed, but the problem description notes that the affected devices completely lose the ability to turn on.
