Appeal to citizens of Uzbekistan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the armed conflicts between Israel and Iran

In recent days, tensions in the Middle East region, especially between Israel and Iran, have escalated into armed conflicts, causing serious concern not only in the region, but also in the entire international community.

The Republic of Uzbekistan considers war not as a means of solving problems, but as a serious threat to people's lives, stability and development . There are no winners in a war. The biggest losses have always been borne by ordinary people, and this is still the case today.

Uzbekistan has always pursued and will continue to pursue a peaceful policy. Our country is developing friendly and mutually beneficial relations with all countries.

In this regard, we call on the citizens of Uzbekistan to maintain a peaceful, tolerant and responsible civil position. Our common duty is not to react to conflicts based on religious, racial or other personal affiliation, and to resist any propaganda of hatred and hostility.

We also call on our citizens not to succumb to various provocations and offensive calls, and to maintain a calm, rather than emotional, attitude to the situation. We remind you that preserving national and religious harmony in our society is an important guarantee of universal stability and security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reiterates its support for the peaceful settlement of all conflicts based on international law and diplomatic dialogue. Relations based on peace and mutual respect will always remain a priority of our country's foreign policy.
