Uzbekistan, Qatar discuss strengthening strategic partnership

First Deputy Foreign Minister Bahromjon Aloyev held talks with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar Hassan bin Hamza Hashim. The meeting will focus on expanding strategic cooperation and implementing bilateral agreements.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues of developing trade and economic cooperation, expanding business contacts and increasing investment activity. Promising areas of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, including educational initiatives and tourism projects, were discussed.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the current situation in the region. Special attention was paid to ensuring stability, security and promoting peace initiatives.

The diplomats confirmed their desire to consistently strengthen the political dialogue and deepen partnership between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
