Ministries discussed prospects for cooperation in the digital sphere

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a working meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the People's Republic of China. The dialogue was held within the framework of the delegation's visit to China and focused on the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies and the digital economy.

During the meeting, prospects for expanding cooperation in key areas were discussed: strengthening digital infrastructure, supporting creative economy initiatives, and developing software engineering and IT outsourcing services. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience and technologies in the field of the latest digital solutions.

The parties considered the possibilities of joint implementation of projects, creation of high-tech industries and introduction of best practices in national digital industries. Among the priority topics are the development of ICT infrastructure, support for start-ups and creating conditions for an active technological partnership between companies in the two countries.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation and agreed on plans to continue the dialogue at the expert level.
