Meta and the Ministry of Digital Technologies discussed strategic areas of cooperation

A delegation led by Simon Milner, Vice President for Public Policy in the Asia-Pacific Region at Meta, visited the IT Park. During the visit, the company's representatives got acquainted with the park's activities, its ecosystem, promising projects and conditions created for investors.

The guests were provided with detailed information about the work of the UzSoc center in the field of information security, monitoring of social networks and other areas. The delegation also visited the UZINFOCOM center, where they demonstrated the capabilities of digital infrastructure, the operation of data processing centers and modern technological solutions used to provide services.

The main part of the visit was devoted to a meeting with the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov. During the talks, the sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, content policy issues, developing the potential of young people, using artificial intelligence, strengthening the digital economy and ensuring security in social networks.

Following the meeting, the importance of the dialogue was noted for forming the foundations of strategic partnership and developing open interaction between Meta and the relevant ministry.
