Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with the delegation of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), headed by Chairman of the Board Hayashi Nobumitsu. The discussion focused on strengthening partnerships, as well as on the prospects for the development of the digital sector in the context of bilateral cooperation.
The participants of the meeting exchanged views on current projects and outlined areas for further cooperation in the field of digital technologies. Special attention was paid to the modernization of digital infrastructure, the introduction of advanced solutions in telecommunications, as well as the expansion of educational opportunities in the field of information technology.
Among the priority topics are the development of IT education, the creation of joint programs with international educational institutions and support for technology startups. The parties stressed the importance of investing in human capital and knowledge transfer, which contribute to accelerated digital transformation.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached to continue the bilateral dialogue and develop specific initiatives aimed at implementing promising projects and supporting the innovation ecosystem.
