The Wibes video platform, created by the combined company Wildberries and Russ (RVB LLC), has announced the launch of an expanded monetization program: from July 2025, bloggers who are not sellers of the Wildberries marketplace will be able to receive direct payments for viewing their videos.
According to the official message of the Wibes team, authors will be awarded 100 rubles for every thousand views, starting with content published since June 1. The first payment settlement will take place in August. The new mechanism is aimed at self-employed and individual entrepreneurs who upload original videos to the platform.
Monetization applies exclusively to copyrighted content. In particular, no payments will be made for videos created as part of the Wildberries sellers ' product promotion partner program. Authors who have posted at least two videos with a duration of 5 seconds or more are allowed to participate.
To monitor metrics, the Wibes mobile app will launch a separate pageview counter, whose data will serve as the basis for calculating rewards.
The Wibes app was launched in beta mode in March 2025. The platform combines elements of a social network and a marketplace, allowing you to view short videos (up to 90 seconds), reviews, product collections, photos and articles with the possibility of instant purchase. In April, the platform launched an affiliate program for product promotion by Russian sellers and bloggers.
According to official data, the app has been downloaded more than 1 million times since its launch, and the total number of users has exceeded 6.3 million.
The launch of the monetization program indicates the intention of Wildberries to strengthen the position of Wibes against the background of competition with large video platforms, stimulating the influx of independent authors and the growth of user content.
