Mazda introduced a sports version of the EZ-6 sedan: two power plants and a power reserve of up to 1300 km

Mazda has expanded its EZ-6 mid-size sedan lineup with the Sports Edition. The novelty is available in four trim levels, priced from $ 22,320 to $ 35,000, making it one of the brand's most affordable models with an expressive sporty design and advanced technology.

Mazda EZ-6 Sports Edition is offered with two types of power plants — hybrid and all-electric. The electric version is equipped with a single 258 hp electric motor and a 56.1 or 68.8 kWh traction battery, providing a power reserve of up to 600 km on the CLTC cycle. The hybrid version uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 95 hp, an electric motor with 218 hp, as well as a battery based on lithium-iron-phosphate technology. In a mixed cycle, the hybrid is able to travel up to 1301 km, while on pure electricity — 130 or 200 km, depending on the configuration.

The design is made in the corporate style of Soul Motion, with an emphasis on dynamics and minimalism. The electric version does not have a traditional radiator grille-it is replaced by a solid panel, while the hybrid received a classic radiator grille. All versions have the highlighted Mazda logo. The body is close to the proportions of a fastback coupe, and the short overhangs emphasize the sporty character. Overall dimensions are 4921 × 1890 × 1485 mm, wheelbase — 2895 mm.

The interior is focused on digital technologies and premium materials. Already in the basic version, leather seats, a 14.6-inch touchscreen media system, a fully digital dashboard and a Sony audio system with 14 speakers are installed. A 50-inch projection display with augmented reality is available for a surcharge. In the top versions — seats with a combination of leather and suede trim, a panoramic roof with a sunroof, multi-color atmospheric lighting (64 options), as well as dual-zone climate control.

The Mazda EZ-6 Sports Edition combines advanced electric architecture with the brand's signature aesthetic, offering one of the most technologically advanced and affordable sedans with extended power reserve and a focus on long-distance comfort.
