HP has announced the release of the Z2 Mini G1a compact desktop computer, powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI Max 300 processors. This is one of the first mini-PCs with this platform from a leading manufacturer, whereas previously similar solutions were released mainly under less well-known brands.
The model can be equipped with chips up to Ryzen AI Max Pro 395+, which have advanced capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and graphics processing. The amount of RAM varies from 32 to 128 GB, the drive is a 1 or 2 TB SSD. The device is made in a compact case with dimensions of 200 × 168 × 86 mm and a weight of 2.3 kg.
The Z2 Mini G1a is equipped with a wide range of interfaces, including five USB 3.0 ports, two USB4, one USB-C 3.2, two Mini DisplayPort 2.0, an RJ-45 network connector and an additional set of ports that depends on the configuration.
The mini PC is already available for order in the UK. The basic version is priced at 1,670 pounds, the maximum configuration reaches 2,660 pounds. HP positions the new product as a solution for work tasks with a high level of productivity in conditions of limited space.
