The IV Tashkent International Investment Forum opened in the capital of Uzbekistan: more than 8,000 delegates, a large-scale premiere and global attention

On June 9, 2025, the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIEF) kicked off in Tashkent — one of the largest events on the investment agenda of Central Asia, which brought together leading representatives of world business, financial institutions and government structures in Uzbekistan.

This year, the forum is being held in a record — breaking format: hundreds of investment projects in strategically important sectors-energy, infrastructure, mining, agriculture, digital technologies and industry-are being presented to the international community.

The importance of the forum is demonstrated by the participation of top officials of states and heads of global financial institutions. Among the guests of honor are President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adilbek Kasymaliyev, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguli Ataguliyev. They were joined by Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Dilma Rousseff, President of the New Development Bank.

The Forum gathered over 8,000 participants, including about 3,000 foreign guests from almost 100 countries, which demonstrates a high level of trust in Uzbekistan as a dynamically developing investment platform with attractive conditions for international partnership.

The key event of the forum was the first National exhibition of industrial and investment potential of Uzbekistan, where 90 companies from more than 10 fast-growing industries are represented. Among them are petrochemicals, mechanical engineering, construction and food processing. The exhibition gives investors a unique opportunity to get acquainted with specific projects that are ready for cooperation.

The scale of the event is covered by 114 accredited media representatives from 31 countries, including such global media holdings as CNN (USA), Euronews (EU), The Guardian (UK), ZDF (Germany), Al Jazeera (Qatar), Diplomat Magazine (Netherlands), EU Reporter (Belgium), Daily Times (Pakistan), Doha News (Qatar), and others.

The forum program includes panel discussions, presentations of investment projects, B2B and B2G meetings, as well as signing of bilateral and multilateral agreements. All this is aimed at deepening investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and foreign partners.

The IV International Investment Forum will last several days and will become an important stage in strengthening the international investment image of Uzbekistan, demonstrating its openness to cooperation, sustainable development and commitment to reforms.
