Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Farkhod Ermanov held a meeting with the delegation of the Chinese company Datatek Technology Co., Ltd ("Datatek Group") headed by the head of Rai Hung. During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for modernizing public transport in the region and introducing environmentally friendly transport solutions.
The parties exchanged views on the development of transport infrastructure, including the introduction of digital payment systems, the transition to eco-friendly modes of transport, as well as the adaptation of international practices to the conditions of the region. Special attention was paid to the need to create a sustainable and modern transport ecosystem focused on the convenience and safety of passengers.
Datatek representatives positively assessed the current reforms in Uzbekistan in the field of public transport and expressed interest in launching joint projects using advanced technological solutions.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to start developing pilot projects, including the purchase of modern buses and the introduction of digital traffic management systems. The negotiations were the first step towards deeper integration of the company's technologies into the region's infrastructure.
The parties expressed confidence that cooperation will contribute to improving the quality of transport services in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and improving conditions for the population.
