Investment potential of Uzbekistan's IT sector presented in New Delhi

The capital of India hosted events within the framework of the meeting of the Business Cooperation Council and the Central Asia-India Business Forum, organized with the aim of strengthening economic ties and expanding regional partnership. The Uzbek delegation included Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rustam Karimdzhanov.

One of the key areas of the forum was the digital economy. During the presentations, Indian and Central Asian entrepreneurs were presented with the export potential and investment opportunities of the IT market of Uzbekistan. Participants were shown the country's achievements in the field of digitalization, including the development of IT infrastructure, stimulating the export of digital services and measures to support international investors in the technology sector.

The forum brought together representatives of business, relevant departments and investors from Central Asian countries and India. The focus was on joint initiatives in the field of high technologies, logistics, industrial cooperation and sustainable development.

Within the framework of the event, negotiations were also held between representatives of Uzbekistan and Indian companies. Specific formats of cooperation were discussed, including launching joint digital projects, expanding the presence of Uzbek IT companies in the Indian market, and promoting cross-border IT services.
