Jizzakh region hosts seminar on protection of entrepreneurs ' rights

A seminar dedicated to ensuring legal protection and support of entrepreneurs was held in Jizzakh region. The event was attended by First Deputy Khokim of the region Zafar Azimov, representatives of the office of the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs ' Rights (Business Ombudsman), the business community, as well as regulatory authorities and media representatives.

The main topic of discussion was the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 14, 2024 "On measures for reliable protection of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs". Participants were provided with information on the current legal acts in the field of entrepreneurship, as well as on recent changes aimed at increasing transparency, simplifying procedures and strengthening guarantees for business entities.

Special attention was paid to the procedure for conducting inspections at enterprises. About 300 representatives from 23 different supervisory authorities received explanations about their powers and responsibilities in the framework of supervisory activities.

The seminar became a platform for an open dialogue between entrepreneurs and government authorities. During the final part, the participants received detailed answers to their questions concerning legal protection, the complaint handling mechanism and legal support for business.

The organizers noted that such events are aimed at creating a stable legal environment and increasing legal literacy among both entrepreneurs and representatives of supervisory structures.
