Uzbekistan and Lushang Group discuss launching large-scale projects in logistics, pharmaceuticals and education

Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasimov held talks with a delegation of the Chinese state corporation Lushang Group. The meeting was devoted to discussing promising cooperation and the implementation of a number of projects in Uzbekistan in strategically important sectors.

The parties considered the possibilities of creating modern logistics centers, organizing the production of pharmaceutical products, as well as opening educational institutions with the participation of the Chinese side. Special attention was paid to attracting investment and adapting the best Chinese practices to the infrastructure and industrial development of Uzbekistan.

Founded in 1992 in Shandong Province, Lushang Group is a diversified corporation operating in the fields of trade, medicine, finance, logistics, education and investment. According to the latest data, the company's assets exceed 185 million US dollars.

At the end of the meeting, the sides noted the importance of further deepening the dialogue and outlined concrete steps to prepare for the implementation of joint projects.
