The V Regional Seminar "Digital Communications and Social Networks", which brought together representatives of leading international sports organizations, has started its work in the capital of Uzbekistan. The event is attended by delegations of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), the Olympic Council of Asia, the Organizing Committee of the Asian Games "Aichi–Nagoya–2026", as well as media centers of the Olympic committees of 15 countries.
At the opening ceremony, the participants noted the large-scale work carried out in Uzbekistan to introduce modern communication solutions in the field of physical culture and sports. Special attention was paid to efforts to develop digital infrastructure within the framework of the country's Olympic movement.
One example was the creation of a specialized digital platform that ensures transparency of sports results, as well as monitoring the achievements of members of the national team. This system has significantly simplified access to reliable information for sports journalists and representatives of the media community.
Within the framework of the seminar, representatives of reputable international organizations share their experience in integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the management processes of social networks and digital communication channels.
According to the program, the seminar will last until June 5. Participants will discuss current challenges in the field of sports PR, marketing and media, consider organizational aspects of large-scale multi-sport events, as well as prospects for further international cooperation in the digital environment.
