Kashkadarya region examines development of IT education and activities of IT companies

The working group headed by the Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies visited Kashkadarya region, including Kukdala and Kitab districts, as well as the cities of Karshi and Shakhrisabz. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the development of IT education and the activities of IT companies in the region.

In particular, training courses in the areas of information technology and foreign languages were organized in the IT Park building in Kukdal. They train more than 350 young people.

In addition, representatives of the working group inspected construction works in the newly created IT town in the village of Miraki, Shakhrisabz district. Upon completion of the project, over 400 young people will have the opportunity to receive free training in the field of information technology.

During the summer period, three new initiatives will be implemented in Kashkadarya region aimed at increasing the interest of young people in the IT field and developing the skills of computer science teachers:

- Holding the InfoTeach forum in the field of;
- Opening of a work area with all necessary conditions for freelancers in Kukdalinsky district;
- Organization of a sports Olympiad in programming among students in grades 7-11. Ten winners will have the opportunity to participate in a summer camp in Tashkent. Hackathons and ideathons are also planned for schoolchildren of the region.
