Tashkent, Uzbekistan-For the first time in the history of the higher education system of Uzbekistan, educational programs in the field of information and communication technologies have passed international accreditation. Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarazmi (TATU) has received recognition from one of the most authoritative accreditation organizations in Germany — ASIIN.
According to official information, six educational areas of TATU have been awarded international accreditation at once:

Software Engineering
Telecommunications technologies
TV technologies
Infocommunication engineering
Artificial intelligence
The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan notes that this event was an important step towards integrating national education into the global academic and professional space. Now diplomas issued under these programs are recognized in leading countries of the world, which significantly expands the opportunities for graduates in the field of academic mobility and employment.
ASIIN experts highly appreciated the content of academic programs, organizational infrastructure of the university, as well as the level of integration of scientific research. Special attention was paid to new areas, such as artificial intelligence and infocommunication engineering, which for the first time among CIS universities received accreditation according to European standards.
According to the official statement, the accreditation received by TATU significantly increases the status of the university in the international arena and opens up students ' access to educational and professional opportunities outside the country. According to experts, this will also contribute to the development of highly qualified human resources and strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the global digital economy.
