Uzbekistan announces the start of sales of the first civilian aircraft of domestic production

At one of the key military exhibitions held in Uzbekistan, the first civilian aircraft developed by domestic engineers was presented. The project has become an important step in the development of small aviation in the country and will soon enter the commercial stage: the aircraft is planned to be brought to the market, and anyone can buy it.

The new development is aimed at private owners, small businesses and organizations that need mobile transport solutions. According to preliminary data, the cost of the aircraft will be about 200,000 US dollars. The car is designed for high-speed flights within the country: its maximum speed reaches 200 km/h. This allows, for example, to cover the route from Samarkand to Tashkent in just an hour and a half, significantly saving time compared to road or rail connections.

According to the developers, the aircraft meets the basic international standards of safety and comfort. It is intended for use in private aviation, piloting routes within the country, and can also be used in the field of tourism, air monitoring and emergency delivery.

The presentation of the aircraft was a landmark event for the aviation industry of Uzbekistan, demonstrating the technological achievements of the local engineering school and the growing interest in the formation of the domestic light aviation market. The project is being implemented with the support of relevant government agencies aimed at developing transport infrastructure and expanding opportunities for interregional mobility.

According to experts, the launch of its own civil aircraft on the market can become an incentive for the formation of a full-fledged ecosystem of small aviation in the country, including pilot training, the development of the airfield network and the creation of service centers.

Thus, Uzbekistan is taking another step towards strengthening technological sovereignty and developing new sectors of the economy related to high-tech production and modernization of the transport system.
