On May 21, 2025, a bilateral agreement on cooperation in the field of nuclear energy was signed in Budapest, as part of the official visit of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Hungary. This document has become an important stage in the development of partnership between the two countries and reflects the desire to strengthen strategic ties in the energy sector.
