Uzbekistan and Singapore discuss the possibility of launching direct flights between Tashkent and Singapore

On May 20, 2025, it became known about the negotiations that Uzbekistan and Singapore are discussing the possibility of launching direct flights between Tashkent and Singapore. This initiative is aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation, strengthening economic and tourism ties, as well as creating new opportunities for business and cultural exchange.

To date, there is no direct air connection between the two countries, and passengers are forced to use transit routes through third countries. The launch of a direct flight will significantly reduce travel time, increase the convenience of movement and create favorable conditions for the development of tourism and business.

It is expected that the opening of the new route will have a positive impact on the tourism industry of Uzbekistan, contributing to attracting tourists from Southeast Asia. In addition, direct communication with one of the world's largest aviation hubs will strengthen Uzbekistan's position on the international transport map and open up new logistics prospects for business.
