A large-scale project on the creation of micro-industrial zones will start in Uzbekistan in the near future, the implementation of which is provided for by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. New industrial sites are planned to be organized in stages in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, all regions of the country, as well as in the city of Tashkent.
The main goal of the initiative is to provide comprehensive support to small and medium-sized businesses, stimulate local production activity, and create additional jobs. The project is aimed at developing the regional economy through more efficient use of resources, introduction of modern technologies and involvement of the local population in business activities.
As part of the project, entrepreneurs will be provided with all the necessary industrial and engineering and communication infrastructure: buildings and structures, electricity, water, gas and transport communications. It also provides for measures to simplify the procedures for obtaining permits and access to financial instruments.
The creation of micro-industrial zones will increase the investment attractiveness of the regions, provide employment for the population and expand the industrial potential of Uzbekistan, forming a sustainable platform for the development of small businesses in the long term.
