Uzbekistan and China agree to expand cooperation in transport and logistics

Uzbekistan and China have agreed to expand cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, reaching an agreement on the development of multimodal transport corridors. The project aims to create an efficient cargo delivery system by integrating various modes of transport — rail, road and, if necessary, air and water.

The negotiations, which took place in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, confirmed the mutual interest of the parties in increasing the capacity of transport infrastructure, reducing delivery times and reducing logistics costs. Under the agreement, it is planned to modernize existing routes, introduce digital solutions in transportation management, and develop logistics hubs in both countries.

It is expected that the implementation of the project will not only strengthen trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and China, but also create additional incentives for expanding business, increasing exports and imports, as well as attracting investment in related industries. Special attention will be paid to ensuring the sustainability and reliability of new transport chains that meet modern international requirements.
