Uzbekistan and Schlumberger sign data management agreement

Uzbekneftegaz Joint-Stock Company and Schlumberger International Company signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of data management in the oil and gas industry. The signing of the document was an important step towards the introduction of digital technologies and improving the efficiency of production processes in Uzbekistan.

The agreement provides for the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at modernizing data collection, processing and analysis systems, which, in turn, will make it possible to more accurately assess hydrocarbon reserves, optimize production and increase the profitability of processing. The parties also agreed to exchange experience, transfer know-how and train specialized specialists.

Special attention will be paid to creating digital platforms, integrating intelligent solutions into production chains, and using cloud technologies to efficiently store and process large amounts of information.

It is expected that cooperation with one of the world leaders in the field of technologies for the energy sector will give a new impetus to the development of the oil and gas complex of Uzbekistan and will increase its competitiveness at the international level.
