Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia sign agreements on joint fight against corruption

Tashkent hosted the signing of two interstate memoranda between the anti-corruption agencies of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia. The documents were the result of an active dialogue between the two countries in the field of combating corruption and indicate the intention of the parties to deepen bilateral cooperation in this area.

According to the agreements reached, Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia will regularly exchange information and practical experience in the field of anti-corruption activities. In addition, it is planned to hold joint forums, round tables, expert sessions and training events aimed at improving the skills of specialists and developing effective solutions in the fight against corruption.

The main purpose of the signed memoranda is to jointly promote transparency policies, strengthen control mechanisms and increase the accountability of state institutions. Special attention will be paid to improving public administration, minimizing corruption risks and introducing modern standards in the field of anti-corruption compliance.

The signing of the agreements opens up new opportunities for developing institutional partnership and building trust between the two countries. This is an important step in the global effort to create a fair, open and equitable system of governance, both at the national and international levels.
