Samarkand will host the summit of Central Asia and the Persian Gulf

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov confirmed the holding of an international summit in Samarkand with the participation of Central Asian countries and member states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC). It is expected that the event will become an important stage in the development of political dialogue and economic partnership between the regions.

The summit's agenda includes issues of sustainable development, strengthening mutual investment, expanding trade and economic cooperation, as well as ensuring regional and trans-regional security. Special attention will be paid to joint infrastructure and energy projects, as well as climate initiatives that are relevant for both sides.

The holding of the forum in Samarkand highlights the growing role of Uzbekistan as a center of diplomatic activity and a reliable partner in international affairs.
