The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has approved a loan of up to 20 million euros for Article Asia Cable, one of the leading producers of copper cables and wires in Uzbekistan.
The funds will be used to expand the company's production capacity, as well as to increase export volumes, including specialized products such as cables for solar power plants. The project provides for the development of professional training programs for employees and the introduction of international quality standards at all stages of the production process.
It is expected that the EBRD's support will help strengthen the position of the Uzbek producer in international markets and will contribute to the growth of the country's export potential.
