On April 14, 2025, the capital of Uzbekistan hosted an international conference dedicated to the digital transformation of urban governance. The event, organized with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, brought together representatives of state authorities, international organizations, the private sector and the expert community.
The main goal of the conference was to discuss current trends and practical solutions for implementing modern information and communication technologies in urban infrastructure management. Participants shared their experience and presented innovative approaches to the development of "smart" cities focused on improving the quality of life of the population and the efficiency of municipal services.
During the plenary sessions and thematic panels, projects in the fields of intelligent video surveillance, digital resource supply, automation of public services and transport logistics were presented. Special attention was paid to ensuring cybersecurity, protecting personal data and building a sustainable digital ecosystem that can withstand modern challenges.
The conference also discussed the mechanisms of interstate cooperation and the role of international technology partners in the development of the digital infrastructure of cities in Uzbekistan. Following the event, it was noted that further digitalization of urban space requires coordinated efforts of the state, business and the scientific community, as well as continuing dialogue at the international level.
