Central Asian University hosted the largest technology conference of the year — CAU Tech Summit 2025. The event brought together leading experts in the field of IT, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as students, startups, investors and representatives of international companies. The press service of the Ministry of Digital Technologies reports.
One of the key topics of the summit was the development of digital education in Uzbekistan. Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies presented strategic goals under the "Uzbekistan-2030" program:
- Training 300 000 young IT professionals;
- Creating more than 10 000 IT companies;
- Annual attraction 50 000 school leavers to the IT industry;
- Certification process 1 million person in foreign languages;
- Extradition 50 000 international professional IT certificates.
These initiatives highlight the dynamic development of the country's digital ecosystem and its desire to take a leading position in the global technology industry.
One of the most anticipated events of the summit was an exclusive lecture By Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple. His first visit to Uzbekistan was a landmark event not only for the country, but also for the entire region.
