One of the world's largest events in the field of information and communication technologies-the exhibition and congress MWC Barcelona – 2025-continues in Barcelona (Spain). Among the participants of the event are representatives of leading IT companies, mobile operators, regulators and government agencies responsible for the development of digital infrastructure. The congress is also attended by a delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Mobile World Congress (MWC) is a key international platform that brings together industry experts to discuss promising technologies, mobile network development, digital solutions, and industry regulation. Within the framework of the congress, the session "Global Technology Governance" was held, which was included in the program of events for ICT ministers of the world.
The program brought together heads of relevant ministries, representatives of regulatory agencies, international organizations and technology companies. The main goal is to organize a direct dialogue between industry leaders, exchange experience and discuss current challenges in the field of digital regulation.
During the event, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov made a statement on holding the GSMA M360 Eurasia 2025 regional event in Tashkent on May 21-22, 2025. He stressed the importance of this event for the development of the IT industry in the region and invited international organizations, as well as leading technology companies, to take part in order to get acquainted with the potential of Uzbekistan in the field of digital technologies.
