The Heemera project returned 2.9 billion soums worth of crypto assets in less than a year

At the press conference National Agency for Advanced Development Projects (NAPP) We summed up the results of 2024 and presented the current state of the crypto industry in Uzbekistan.

Development of the crypto market in Uzbekistan

For February, 2025 in the country work 16 licensed crypto service providers:

• 11 crypto stores;
• 3 cryptodepositories;
• 2 crypto exchanges, including City Pay Gatereceived a license last week.

In 2023, the following documents were issued: 9 new licenses, and in 2024-only 1.

Over the past year to the state budget received:

• 43.5 billion soums from licenses and fees;
• 13 billion soums from monthly fees.

Sandbox results

NAPP also submitted project resultsworking in the following mode: special regulation ("sandboxes"). It involves three initiatives:

NFT for Domain Names (Uzinfocom)
Launched in spring 2023, the project uses the blockchain to confirm your rights to domains. During this time,:

• Released 1009 certificates;
• Revenue amounted to 29.3 million soums.

National Blockchain Network Token.uz (Uzinfocom)
Processed since launch 412.8 thousand transactions total volume 0.52 GB, the profit was 428.5 million soums.

Heemera Project — Fight against Fraud in the crypto industry
The program helped to return 2.9 billion soums affected users. Processed during the work period 60+ applications for the return of lost crypto assets.

Cooperation with Tether

In March 2024, NAPP signed memorandum of cooperation with the company Tether. The parties agreed to develop the blockchain, asset tokenization and digital currencies in Uzbekistan.
