Start of accepting applications for the ICT4Girls Olympiad in Uzbekistan

Applications for participation in the ICT4Girls Olympiad, aimed at identifying talented schoolgirls in the field of sports programming and computer science, have been accepted in Uzbekistan. Registration will last until March 23, 23: 59, and the contest itself will be held in April this year.

Who can participate:
- Girls under the age of 20 who study in schools, vocational schools, academic lyceums and colleges.
- Candidates who have successfully passed the primary selection stage.

Stages of the Olympiad:
The competition will be held in two stages. Participants who showed the best results at the regional level will have the opportunity to compete in the republican final. At the end of the final stage, the 12 best schoolgirls will be recognized as winners and receive corresponding awards.

This year, a special training camp on sports programming will be organized for the winners of ICT4Girls. According to its results, four finalists will be included in the national team of Uzbekistan and represent the country at the European Olympiad of Girls in Informatics (EGOI 2025), which will be held in Bonn (Germany) from July 14 to 20.
