The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan in the amount of $125 million to support the Government of Uzbekistan in modernizing the water resources management system. The funding is aimed at improving water security, optimizing the use of resources, and digitalizing the sector.
Project goals
The project provides for the implementation of smart water management technologies taking into account climate change. This will allow:
