Chinese company Huawei has officially introduced the Mate XT folding smartphone to the international market, CNBC reports.
Mate XT was the first smartphone in the world that can fold three times. Its starting price will be 3,499 euros, but the company has not yet revealed the list of countries where the device will go on sale.
Earlier, in 2024, Huawei launched the Mate XT in the Chinese domestic market.
Until 2019, Huawei held a leading position in the global smartphone market, but the sanctions imposed by the United States restricted the company's access to advanced semiconductor technologies and the Android operating system, which led to a significant reduction in its global market share.
