From February 11 to 13, Dubai (UAE) hosts the international World Government Summit, where the delegation of Uzbekistan takes part. The event brings together government leaders, representatives of international organizations, the private sector and experts to discuss key issues in the field of public administration and digital transformation.
Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov spoke at the session "Is the World Ready for the Next Wave of Digital Disruption?" ("Is the world ready for a new wave of digital revolution?"). The discussion focused on the use of modern technologies for the development of public services, the introduction of innovations and the formation of sustainable digital ecosystems.
In addition, Shermatov took part in the session Tech-Gov Alliance: Building Smarter Futureswhere the prospects for cooperation between government agencies and technology companies were considered. Special attention was paid to the use of artificial intelligence, big data analytics and cloud solutions to improve the efficiency and transparency of public administration.
Panel discussions highlighted the importance of technological transformation for improving the quality of interaction with citizens and improving public services. Participants shared successful case studies and strategies aimed at building smart governments of the future.
The World Government Summit has been held annually since 2013 under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, bringing together world leaders to share ideas and address global challenges.
