Kazan Digital Week 2025 will focus on the development of artificial intelligence

International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2025 It will be held in Kazan from September 17 to 19 and will offer an extended business program. This year, the key direction will be the development of artificial intelligence( AI), the press service of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences reported.

"In 2024, the forum gathered more than 19 thousand participants from 64 countries. In 2025, we expect even more interest and expansion of the geography of participants. Every year, 10 key areas are presented, and this year special emphasis will be placed on artificial intelligence, " the press service noted.

In addition to AI, experts will discuss intelligent transport systems, cybersecurity issues, as well as the introduction of digital technologies in public administration, education, culture, healthcare and agriculture. The forum will also include an exhibition of high-tech developments, the area of which will increase by 50 % — from 10 to 15 thousand square meters.m. "We look forward to active business negotiations and the conclusion of new agreements. Participation has already been confirmed by 30 companies, " the press service added.

The Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, at the ceremony of awarding the Scientific Breakthrough Prize, noted that the republic is one of the three leaders in the National Rating of Scientific and Technological Development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

"Last year, we strengthened measures of financial support for scientists at the expense of the regional budget: we increased the size of named scientific prizes, introduced grants for projects related to critical and end-to-end technologies. For the first time, a postdoc competition was held, the winners of which received grants for the defense of their doctoral dissertation. A program to improve housing conditions for young scientists has also been developed, " said Minnikhanov.
