Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AGMK) successfully started 2025, exporting products worth $28.8 million in January. The company showed impressive results, exceeding the forecast indicators in key areas.
In particular, 2.7 thousand tons of copper products were delivered to foreign consumers, which is 8.4% more than the planned volume. Exports of zinc products amounted to 1.5 thousand tons, exceeding the forecast by 19.3%. Compared to January last year, the growth rate of zinc exports reached an impressive 153.5%.
Stable growth is also observed in the export of copper sulfate-fulfilled 101.7% of the forecast, with an increase of 138.8% in annual terms.
AGMK is actively expanding its supply geography. In 2024, the plant's products entered new markets, including Guinea, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa and Portugal. In 2025, the company plans to continue this trend by establishing export deliveries to Israel and Morocco.
These results highlight AGMK's growing competitiveness in the global market and its strategic contribution to the development of Uzbekistan's export potential.
