Shukhrat Kayumov has extensive academic and managerial experience. He graduated from Tashkent State Technical University and Tashkent State University of Economics, and also studied at leading universities in Japan and Germany.
Prior to his appointment to Cyber University, he served as Rector of the Uzbek State University of World Languages and headed the Center for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies in the Field of Public Education.
Cyber University It was founded on January 20, 2025 by decree of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The main areas of training are information and cybersecurity, digital economy and technology, robotics, as well as the development of systems using artificial intelligence.
The new university is designed to become a key educational center for training highly qualified specialists in the field of modern technologies.
