Xiaomi has announced a new gadget — a portable humidifier for the eyes TechLove, designed to combat dryness and fatigue that occur after prolonged work at the computer.
How does it work?
The device uses ultrasonic spray technology to create a microscopic mist from eye drops. In the form of a compact aluminum tube with a 5 ml cartridge, the gadget sprays the smallest liquid particles (only 6 microns) for six seconds, providing a "spa treatment" effect for the eyes. At the same time, there is no eye contact, which makes TechLove safe for sharing.
Developed with the participation of scientists, the drops for the device were created in collaboration with scientists from Guangzhou Southern Medical University. They eliminate 97% of dryness and irritation, and are hypoallergenic. One cartridge is enough for 45 applications, and five vials are supplied at once.
Autonomy and availability
TechLove is equipped with a 180 mAh battery, which is enough for 180 procedures, and a full charge takes two hours. The cost of the device is 49 yuan (≈ 88.000 сумAt the moment, the gadget is only available in China as part of a crowdfunding campaign. If it is successful, mass production will begin.
It seems that Xiaomi engineers no longer know what else to come up with ... a humidifier for the eyes? Seriously? You've been staring at the screen all day, your eyes are burning, but it doesn't matter — now you can smear yourself with fog from an aluminum tube. The main thing is not to mix up the cartridges and not to fill in an alcohol-containing perfume. We are waiting for the next ingenious invention-a cooling spray for an overheated brain after many hours of scrolling the tape. In the meantime, we can only remember to blink and hope that in the future we will not be forced to breathe through a special Xiaomi filter to "improve the quality of oxygen".
