President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev On January 30, I held a meeting with the founder of the company Lukoil Vagit Alekperov. During the talks, the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects in the country's energy sector.
Special attention was paid to the following issues: geological exploration and development of promising hydrocarbon depositsinfrastructure modernization, as well as development of retail sales of petroleum products.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed plans to expand Lukoil's presence in Uzbekistan, including: training and employment of specialists, and implementation of socially significant programs.
